Kitui County Assembly Mourns the Loss of Senior Hansard Editor, Teddy Matuku

KITUI, May 29, 2024 – It is with deep sorrow that the Kitui County Assembly announces the untimely demise of Mr. Teddy Matuku, the esteemed Senior Hansard Editor and Head of the Hansard Department. Mr. Matuku passed away on Friday, May 24, 2024, at Neema Hospital in Kitui after a brief illness.

Mr. Matuku was a dedicated and highly respected member of the Kitui County Assembly staff, known for his professionalism and commitment to his work. His contributions to the Hansard Department were invaluable, ensuring accurate and detailed records of parliamentary proceedings.

The late Mr. Matuku will be laid to rest on Friday, May 31, 2024, in Ndili Village, Ikutha Ward, Kitui South.

The Kitui County Assembly extends its deepest condolences to Mr. Matuku’s family, friends, and colleagues during this difficult time. His passing is a significant loss to the Assembly and the entire community he served with dedication and distinction.
