Organized by the Vincent Foundation in collaboration with the Catholic Diocese of Kitui, the event saw a vibrant display of solidarity and commitment to fostering a brighter future for the region.

Led by Reverend Charles Kimanga, the youth patron in Kitui Diocese, the participants embarked on a symbolic youth walk, symbolizing their journey towards growth, unity, and spiritual enrichment. As they traversed the streets, their presence resonated with enthusiasm and a shared sense of purpose.

Addressing the press during the event, Reverend Charles Kimanga emphasized the importance of embracing godly values and good morals among the youth of Kitui. “Today, as we celebrate 60 years of Kitui Diocese, it is imperative that our youth embrace godly values and good morals. These principles serve as the foundation for a prosperous and harmonious community,” remarked Reverend Kimanga.

Echoing Reverend Kimanga’s sentiments, Dr. Vincent Munyoki, emphasized the crucial role of youth in shaping the future of Kitui. He urged the young generation to work diligently towards building a better tomorrow, emphasizing that they are the future leaders of the region.

“As we commemorate this significant milestone, let us remember that the youth hold the key to our future. It is essential that they embrace hard work, determination, and integrity as they strive towards their goals,” stated Dr. Munyoki.

The event served as a poignant reminder of the rich history and promising future of Kitui Diocese.
