Munyaka specifically mentioned leaders like Hon. Vincent Kawaya (MP for Mwala), Nimrod Mbai (MP for Kitui East), and Hon. Johnson Muthama, alongside himself, as key figures who stood with the president during the election. He emphasized that the Kamba community should not be overlooked, given the role they played in Ruto’s win.
Although Munyaka clarified that he is not personally seeking a government job, he stressed the importance of respect for the Kamba community and their inclusion in key government positions. His comments reflect growing concerns among Kamba leaders about their community’s representation in national development.
