Mp Racheal NYAMAI leads Community in Mourning the Loss of Reuben Mwanzia Kilungu and Serah Kambua Kyambi”

On the solemn Saturday of April 20th, 2024, the community of Kyome village in Mutomo Kibwea ward came together to bid farewell to a cherished member of their community, Reuben Mwanzia Kilungu. Joined by Kitui South MP Hon Dr. Rachael Kaki, friends, and family, they gathered to celebrate the life of a beloved father, husband, and friend. Reuben Mwanzia Kilungu’s legacy lives on through his children, Paul Kisasi of SEEDCO K. LTD, and Lenn Martin of Duty Logistics Ltd. Their presence serves as a testament to the impact he had on their lives and the community at large.

Following the poignant send-off in Kyome village, Hon Dr. Rachael Kaki continued her journey to Kanziku ward to pay tribute to another esteemed member of the community, Serah Kambua Kyambi, affectionately known as Bintiali. The late Kambua was a pillar of strength and kindness, leaving behind a legacy of love and community involvement. She was a beloved mother to teacher Angalia, Mrs. Mutambu, and Mr. Retaya Kyambi, among others. Her passing at the age of 91 marks the end of an era, but her memory will forever remain a guiding light for those who had the privilege of knowing her.

During the commemoration of Serah Kambua Kyambi’s life, attendees had the opportunity to reflect on her remarkable contributions to the community. Eulogized as a loving mother and an active participant in community-based programs, her impact resonated deeply with all who had the honor of crossing paths with her. The presence of Hon Kyalo Kimuli, MCA of Kanziku ward, further underscored the significance of her legacy and the esteem in which she was held by the community.

As we bid farewell to Reuben Mwanzia Kilungu and Serah Kambua Kyambi, we are reminded of the importance of cherishing the moments we share with loved ones and the impact we can have on those around us. May their souls find eternal peace, and may their legacies continue to inspire us to live with love, kindness, and community spirit.

In memory of Reuben Mwanzia Kilungu and Serah Kambua Kyambi, may their spirits forever rest in peace.
