Stephen Makau Kavuvu Elected as KESSHA Chairman for Machakos County: A Testament to Leadership and Service

In a recent development within the educational landscape of Machakos County, Principal Stephen Makau Kavuvu emerged victorious as the newly elected Chairman of the Kenya Secondary School Heads Association (KESSHA) for the county. His election marks a significant milestone not only for him personally but also for the educational community he serves.

Stephen Makau Kavuvu, the current Principal of Syokisinga Secondary School in Yatta subcounty, has demonstrated his commitment to excellence and service throughout his career. His dedication to the betterment of education and the welfare of students and educators alike has earned him the trust and support of his peers.

During the recent KESSHA conference held at the Mombasa Continental Resort, Kavuvu wasted no time in assuming his new role. He immediately took the opportunity to connect with other educational leaders, including Machakos County Governor Her Excellency Hon. Wavinya Ndeti and Hon. Robert Mbui, Member of Parliament for Kathiani constituency. These interactions highlight Kavuvu’s proactive approach to collaboration and his vision for fostering positive relationships within the educational community and beyond.

Kavuvu’s victory in the election was hard-earned, facing stiff competition from Mr. Kitungi of Kwanzanthe Secondary School. Despite the challenges, Kavuvu’s leadership qualities triumphed .
