Today, in a landmark move, Dr. Kyalo filed a petition at the Kitui law courts, advocating for the revival of Kaluvu, a cherished Kamba tradition. Speaking to reporters, he emphasized that his goal is not to promote alcohol, but to preserve cultural heritage.
Dr. Kyalo stressed the need for stringent quality control by the clan council to prevent illicit brewing practices. He highlighted the upcoming court date on May 28, 2024, as a pivotal moment in safeguarding Kamba heritage.
