The National Anzauni Patron has called on governor Dr Julius Malombe and other elected Kitui leaders to join hands together to improve the lives of Kitui women through women empowerment projects.
Speaking during the International Women’s Day celebration event held at Nguutani in Mwingi West Constituency, Dr Augustus Kyalo Muli emphasized on the need for the county government to collaborate with other patners come up with life changing projects that will impact the lives of our women .” I am very excited to join His Excellence governor in celebrating our women today .
There is need for more collaborations between the county government in coming up with grassroots projects that are game changer to our women.” Said Dr Muli.
The *Kyalo Kya Maendeeo* founder further revealed that through partnership his foundation has benefitted with basketry weaving jobs amounting to 1000 orders that was as a result of deal that was struck between *UN*, *Italy* and *Germany* patners and *KKM*.
The *International Women’s Day celebration* at _Nguutani market_ was well attended by Mwingi Central Mp Gedion Mulyingi, Kitui Women Hon Irene Kasalu, Mwingi West Constituency Mp Charles Nguna among other local leaders.
